For her birthday treat and my 30 Days Wild act today we went to her favourite farm - Church Farm and Rare Breeds Centre. It's only about half an hour from her house and is very friendly and hands-on. We went in the spring for the lambs which great although busy but today it was quieter and she had great fun meeting the sheep in the petting paddock and stroking rabbits, the donkey, goats and chickens. She's not fond of pigs since we happened to be at Wimpole Farm at piggy feeding time!!
We rode round the farm's fields on a tractor ride and she played on the trampolines and toy tractors. If you are ever around the Downham Market, Ely, Kings Lynn area with little ones it is well worth a visit.
Not very 'wild' but outdoors, learning about animals and having fun so I reckon that counts!
